Can someone both paste and stencil, successfully?

I don't have much time to blab right now (even though I usually get a kick out of rambling via the keyboard), but I always have this on my mind: Can you be both a wheat-paster and a stencil artist successfully? I love both arts, though I'm more prone to stick to wheat pasting since I feel more natural doing so. What do you deviant's think?
